I'm not in this body anymore. I'm up here, looking down on all this.
On the one hand, I don't think I've ever been happier in my life. On the other, I don't think I'll ever be satisfied. It's human nature. I think no matter how close I become to people, I'll always want to be closer.
So I haven't updated in a while. Honestly, I've just been too busy living to update. But I feel like writing something now before I go to sleep, so here I am.
Emerson, end of Week 3
Profiles, in the same order as the first time I wrote them:
Alex: I don't care what she says, Alex is NOT pretentious. At least not to any of us. She's very nice. I've found her to be really nice to hang out with; that is, when she's actually there. She and Caleb run off together a lot
Caleb: Caleb is awesome. He's hilarious, he's supportive, he's a terrific actor and an awesome guy. Unfortunately he's always off somewhere with Alex so we don't see that much of him.
Brendan 1 AKA Flipcity AKA Big Riggin AKA Macky AKA B. Mack: Has a hell of a lot of nicknames. He's also an amazing actor and a really cool guy. Blah, I can't find the words to describe him. hate that
Brendan 2 AKA OC: Brendan is a genuinely nice guy. He needs to work on his social skills, but god knows, I can relate to that.
Kristen: Kristen is normally pretty quiet, offering the occasional conversation, which is always enjoyable when it happens. When she's hanging out with Michelle however, any semblance of a shell completely dissapears.
Luisa: Luisa is the cutest thing ever. I don't mean I have a crush on her cute, I mean puppy cute. Cuter then puppies actually. She's TINY, and she has this really cute accent. And when she gets drunk, she starts talking only in spanish, and pouring alcohol down B. Mack's throat while shouting "Andale andale andale!"
Nathan: Nathan is a really cool guy. Once again, I can't seem to find the words to describe him.
Ben: Ben hides his eyes with his hair. As time has gone on, he's talked more and more. He actually talks fairly frequently now. Ben is awesome.
Michelle: Is just the coolest person ever. I don't think I could say anything other then that.
Krystle: Krystle is still hitting on me. She does it at least once a day. It's scary.
Dina: Dina is pretty awesome. Ah blah, at a loss for words again.
Nick: Nick is damn cool. He's a funny guy. He comes across as kind of innocent for some reason. It's not that he is, he just comes across that way. But he is awesome.
Kayla: There was this one time when Kerry went completely insane during homework club and was just cracking up hysterically. Kayla is like that all the time. In other words, she is absolutely awesome.
Today after class we all went to see Hamlet on the Common. We ate at Legal Seafood and had an absolutely sublime dinner. And I don't mean the food. Everyone talked about how close we've become and how much we'll miss each other when the program is over. We decided at the very least we'll throw a couple parties when it's over. And we just had a wonderful time, like we always do.
Hamlet was good, but that hardly matters to me. People and relationships. They're going right. They're going RIGHT. I'm not fucking things up. Well, okay maybe a little, but for the most part I'm not fucking things up. And that's wonderful.
