it is 1:29am here.
and one of my all time biggest freakout horror-movie-esque fears is brushing my teeth and someone appearing in the door behind me so I just see their reflection in the mirror.
So just now, I was brushing my teeth la la la bedtime soon yay, everyone else is in bed, when my MOTHER sticks her head around the door. At 1:28 IN THE MORNING. I swear to god, I nearly died. She realised she scared the absolute bejesus out of me and said sorry and that she was looking for the dog, where is he? I point out he's right there, at her feet, and that my heart has actually stopped beating at this point. Thanks mum, thanks.
I literally went white with shock, which in hindsight is kind of funny.
Way to freak the fuck out of me, mother, way to freak the fuck out of me.
