The boy eyed the pieces of paper, abused into various shapes before being balled up, thrown into the trash can. He turned his attention back onto the the sketch pad. "This... Could take awhile."

He leaned over the desk, snatching the ball-point pen off the headstand. Adverting his sight onto a few reference book, he scribbled madly onto the pieces of paper...

... Only to crumble the paper up again, chucking it out of his window.

He paused when a soft knock came from the door. Without looking up, he set the pen down. "Come in, it's unlocked."

"Ano... Hao-sama?"

The brunette blinked, turning around. The blonde girl was holding a picnic basket, smiling slightly at the older Asakura twin. "D-do you know that there's a sack of paper outside your window porch? Anyways, I-I heard you were writing a play... A I b-brought you c-cookies t-to hel... Help you b-brain storm..."

The boy eyed the basket, currently set down on top of his bed. "... Now, there wouldn't happen to be any GHB in here, right?"

"Of course not!" The girl looked offended, shaking her head determinately.

Hao paused for a few seconds before attacking the basket, digging chocolate chip cookies out before stuffing a few into his mouth. The blonde watched as he chew the crumbs down before reaching for a glass of water.

"It's pretty good." Hao shrugged. "I haven't tried any of your old ones in fear of being drugged."

"Hao-sama!" She frowned, pulling her hands onto her hip. "Now I told you, I don't drug my cookie!" She paused when earning a dissatisfied look from the boy. "Well, at least anymore."

Hao chuckled, swing around in his chair. "Now, how is my favorite Itako doing?"

"Oh." The girl smiled, clapping her hands together. "I'm planning on baking another batch of cookies of different flavor. But you shouldn't say that in front of the other Anna-san, I'm sure she'll get quite mad knowing that you favorite us."

"Che, I'll survive." He shrugged, leaning over before grabbing another cookie. "So how are you?"

"I-I'm fine." She smiled. "In fact, I'm buried myself into baking so I won't be sidetracked off of our planes of donating cookies to the orphanage, you know?"

"How charmingly." Hao grinned, leaning over his left palm. "It's nice to see young people so dedicated to their work of neutralizing world peace one step at a time; you would've done well with my posse."

Anna blinked, taking a seat next to him on the bed. "I though your comrades disliked your idea of world peace?"

"They're disilluminated onto my true goal." He shrugged it off carelessly. "They think I've gone soft and changed my entire outlook and plans. I can't blame them, though; in their eyes, they have just wasted all those years tagging along me with no rewarding efforts."

"Oh." She frowned, pretty dark eyes ovulating concern. "I'm sorry about that."

"It's nothing really." Hao smirked. "They'll be back after my plans are revealed. In the mean time, I can stand working solo for awhile, we all need to focus on the bigger picture. One day you'll wake up and wonder what you have done with your life, then you'll be in a hurry as well."

"Ano..." Anna blinked. "Is it okay if I don't know my goals in life yet? I mean, I wanted to become the Shaman King's wife and look after Yoh, but now that's all over. The only thing important right now is Lyserg-kun. I'm actually more worried about the well-being of everyone else over what I want in life."

"I only agree partly with you." Hao declared. "It's nice of you to care for others, but you should never value your own needs over someone else's. It's selfish of me to say this, but people need to evaluate their current position in life relevant to what society thinks."

"That's really deep, Hao-sama."

"Che." He chuckled again. "Well, if you don't mind, I really need to get working on this again." He pointed towards the paper. "Thank you for the cookie, Anna-chan. You know you can always come to me when you're bored."

The blonde blushed, blinking rapidly.

"Of course, don't tell Lys-chan that; he might think I'm trying to steal his girlfriend away." He shook his head. "Like all those before him, the boy seriously need to stop being hypercritical for a while. Not everyone is out to get him."

"Well, I need to deliver the rest of the cookies to Yoh-kun... So"

"Ah, and I thought I was special." Hao mocked in return, earning a smile from the girl. He watched the girl nodded, happily skipping out of the room, hand onto the basket.

Kyouyama Anna was one interesting character.
