I <3 the internet
So those yuppie fuckers at the Paddington Guitar Shop quoted me $40 to install a new input jack into my bass guitar. We're talking a $3 part from Dick Smith and a 5 minute soldering job. I would have done it myself except that I don't have a soldering iron. So anyhow, I go on the internet, and nice people are fighting over who gets to fix my bass, and they're all offering to do it for less than the other guy is.
My bass is getting fixed tomorrow and all it's going to cost me is a six pack of beer. If I wasn't a humanist I'd say "Thank God for the internet!"
