(no subject)
Mega flu almost killed me. 3 days off work this week, haven't been able to actually start my job because I lost my voice and the doctor told me to "adopt voice rest" (ie. shut up). Of course I haven't been able to shut up, so my throat is still fucked.
On the sunny side of life, I think Alex, Cat and I have found a house to move into (which is a hard thing to do these days). We inspected it today and before we went in there were around 8 other people waiting to inspect too. Then the agent showed up, and he turned out to be an old uni friend of Alex's.... score! The other people inspecting did not look impressed and I'd say it's almost guaranteed that we'll get the house. I'm totally excited.
I bought a printer/scanner/copier this week and I've been printing out awesome photos of my friends on fancy photo paper and scanning photos of pugs. Best purchase ever. If anyone's in the market, they're only $69 at Dick Smith. At that price, you know it's gotta be something special ;)
