Shouri woke up to find himself alone in the bed, which was more than a relief. He really didn't feel like dealing with his mother today and he had plenty of other things he needed to do

Yuuri was doing investigative work of sorts. He wanted to make sure that he'd be able to sneak around the castle without being noticed if the need arose--something sadly impossible for him as it was. So, for now, he was walking the halls with a calculating eye, making note of each turn. Some of the castle staff that passed him gave him confused looks, but he just ignored them as best he could.
Unfortunately, he was a good ways down a hall when he spotted someone he didn't think he could get away with ignoring. He froze up upon noticing... his brother? It couldn't really be his brother, though. But if he was anything like the brother he knew, he couldn't really afford to stop and chat with him. If he hadn't been noticed yet, maybe there was still time to flee. After all, Shouri seemed focused on some sort of search and hadn't seen him just yet. He glanced over his shoulder, but there wasn't a hallway to hide in for a good distance. It only then occurred to him that this world's Shouri would be used to a male Yuuri, and as terrifying as that thought was, it could mean he was safe from notice. He opted to continue down the hallway towards him, his pace only a bit brisker than usual, keeping his eyes trained on the floor in hopes of being less noticeable.
Shouri had been asking almost anyone he saw if they'd seen Yuuri. He heard footsteps coming toward him and, of course, he called out to her. "Hey, have you seen-"
He stopped immediately as he saw the girl's face. It was a face he'd know anywhere and having the mother that they had, the dress wasn't any sort of surprise. "Yuu-chan!" He didn't hesitate and threw his arms around her with a goofy smile and a slight blush. "The dress is adorable! Did kaa-san put you up to this?" He wasn't about to let go anytime soon.
As soon as he heard himself addressed, he knew it was over and resigned himself. Maybe there were some who wouldn't catch onto the resemblance, but definitely not his bro--his double's brother.
A hug of all things, however, he was not prepared for. He didn't quite hyperventilate, but he was panicking a little. His arms twitched uncomfortably, but he didn't manage to move otherwise. "N- no..." he practically squeaked. He wanted desperately to explain that he wasn't the Yuuri he thought he was, but his brain didn't want to cooperate. He flailed his arms a little, hoping against hope that he would be released.
Something wasn't right. Usually Yuuri would have been struggling almost violently and yelling at him to let go. Shouri released the dressed up Yuuri and looked at him quizzically. "It's not like you to wear something like this on your own." Not that he was opposed to it. "What's going on around here?" Was this why Bob didn't want him coming here?
He let out a long sigh of relief, although his face still felt red and his breathing a little off. He couldn't remember the last time someone had hugged him. His family had backed off on the physical affection aspect a good while before.
"I always dress like this." Were there people in the castle who didn't know all about the situation with other worlds? He really hoped he didn't have to be the one to explain. He only hesitantly looked up at the look-alike of his brother, his eyes flickering around uncertainly. "I'm not... from here. I'm not your brother," he managed to say at a decent volume, his voice shaking a little.
Shouri took a half step back and looked over his not-brother. He looked just like him, just dressed like his mother would always have wanted.
He looked around and saw no one else in the hall. "I'm not from here either. But the last time I was here you weren't pretending to be a girl. And why are you denying it? No one is here to hear or see you." He couldn't get over the adorable look of Yuuri in a dress and glomped him again. "You're my precious Yuu-chan! Onii-chan is here to protect you!"
It didn't seem like that creeper Conrad was here doing his job.
He was going to really panic if someone hugged him again. He shook his head fervently, the rest of him freezing up. He had a sudden change of heart for his actual brother. He really wasn't so bad after all.
"I'm not pretending!" he protested as the shock faded, and he waved his arms a little in vain. If this guy didn't look just like his brother, he might have tried something to force him off, but it didn't seem realistic anyways. "I'm... from a different world!" he blurted out. It was the quickest explanation he could come up with.
He let him go, reluctantly. "A different world, like Earth?" Honestly, did he hit his head? "I don't know what's wrong with you today, but maybe we should go find a medic. Getting pulled back and forth might have scrambled your brains. There was that girl in the infirmary that might be able to figure out what's wrong with you."
At least he could breathe easily again without the embrace. He bunched up his shoulders awkwardly, holding his arms up in something of a defensive position and shook his head again. He took in a big breath, preparing himself to speak. "Not earth... a different different world. My head's just fine..." Infirmaries were a big no. Doctors were too dangerous to be risked.
Wolfram had acted like everyone was used to this double thing. He didn't want to say it, but... "I'm not your brother, like I said. I'm... a double."
How long had it been since he was here? He knew things could be weird, but people from other worlds besides Earth that just happen to look like Yuuri? That seemed even more extreme than usual. But he'd go with it for now.
"So, let me get this straight. You're Yuu-chan, but you're not Yuu-chan? And somewhere in this place, he's roaming about, vulnerable?!" Though, there was something about the look of this one he liked better.
He nodded hesitantly. He at least felt relieved that his point had come across.
"Yes... my name's also Yuuri." He didn't know how to feel about this Yuu-chan business. "The other Yuuri should be fine and safe, though... I met him yesterday. He seemed fine." Was there some danger here no one told him about? His brother was a worrywart, though, so maybe he was just imagining a danger if this one was also like that.
He wasn't sure what to think about two Yuuris. It was double the cute, but should he try to protect both? What if this one had a brother that wanted to protect him and couldn't because he was away? He painfully knew of this feeling and made his decision.
"Since you're a stranger in this place, then I'll protect both you and Yuu-chan. By the way, was he with anyone?" He hoped it wasn't that creepy guy, but he did appreciate his desire to also protect Yuuri.
"U- um..." He really didn't know what to say about being protected. Well, if he was such a doting brother, he definitely wouldn't want to hurt him, but... he needed some distance, too. He stared down at his own feet awkwardly.
"We were with, uh... the two Wolframs." He felt kind of awkward saying someone's name when they were practically strangers.
Two Wolframs? This was rather strange. His mother didn't mention anything about this! And he wasn't sure he was happy about them hanging around Yuuri either. But at least he wasn't off with only one of them. He refused to let anyone hurt his Yuu-chan's pride!
"Do you know where they might be? Or, most importantly, Yuuri?" He didn't really care where the Wolframs were.
He felt a bit bewildered from receiving all these questions. Yuuri looked around anxiously.
"Um..." he considered it, but no one had mentioned where they'd be today to him before. But, if the other him was really this country's King, there was one logical place he'd be. "I don't know, but maybe in his office? Doesn't he have work to do...?"
"I already checked there." Shouri pouted. He never was good at keeping up with his work. He used to nag Yuuri about that all the time. "Gwendal tends to do it for him, and I didn't see him around either." He then remembered that this Yuuri looked like he was going somewhere in a hurry. "Where were you headed before? I didn't mean to hold you up."
