“I am a Hunter.” He noted. He saw that someone was coming to help the woman and ... Hube’s eye twitched.... her kitten.
He turned his eye so that he could pinpoint the location of the man under the rubble. “His leg is broken and he’s nearly unconscious.” He said after a moment of survey with his mechanical eye. He could see the heat signatures under the loose stone and they returned the data to his brain. “That is why you cannot hear him. He will need the attention of a healer immediately.”
His head turned and a gear shifted audibly. “There is one more under the rubble. You cannot help him. He is dead. He was dead instantly when the wall collapsed and crushed his skull.”
The words were spoken with no emotion, it seemed as though he might be reading a report of the weather.
The blood around that particular section he was looking at was a good indication that Hube was speaking the truth.
