Anissina left Wolfram with a head full of questions. She would have pressed the boy for more answers, but he was obviously in need of sleep. Though, he was sitting outside.
He said that she should talk to Gwendal. It seemed important, so she didn't wait until morning. Besides, she was quite awake now and she'd be asleep when he woke up. Her schedule was shifted from most, but sometimes it served her well. She got to work in peace and quiet most of the time.
She made her way to Gwendal's room, debating the best method of how to grab his attention. As much as she wanted to charge in and demand answers, she learned the hard way a long time ago that he was not one you wanted to startle from a deep slumber too suddenly.
Almost silently, she took off her boots and entered his room and closed the door behind her. She heard him lightly snoring in the dark and padded across the room and, hands on her hips, looked down at his sleeping face. Even in sleep his brows were crossed - except for the occasional silly giggle, which just sounded wrong coming from Gwendal sometimes. Placing her boots beside the bed, she sat on the edge of the bed and put her lips next to Gwendal's ear to whisper him awake. "Gwendal, it's been too long since we've had some time to ourselves." To talk, of course.
