Day 76, evening

Jun 26, 2011 06:42

It took a while for Murata to fully wake up. He spent a good amount of time rolling around in his bed, gripping the sheets and murmuring words in foreign languages as he slowly woke up and transitioned away from the dream state he was in. Finally he managed to sit up, instinctively reaching for his glasses that had made their way onto the table beside the bed. Once they were on, he frowned and looked around; things seemed out of place. There was a tray with empty dishes on the far side of the room, as well as a glass of water that was right beside where his glasses had been. His noisy plushy permanent alarm system was far from the door, the drawer where he kept his letters wasn't properly shut, there was a torn shirt that clearly belonged to Wolf in the laundry basket, and when Murata looked downwards he realized he wasn't wearing anything under the sheets. He couldn't help but adjust the only thing he was wearing and chuckle.

Well, this is interesting.

He did foggily remember the events that occurred during the dinner, but he couldn't remember anything from the second he stepped out of the dining room until the present. He'd realized this would happen back when he decided to take a sip of the drink, and now he was curious as to if he was correct about his predictions and assumptions about what could have happened and what actually had happened.

It had been a crazy night, but it had definitely been worthwhile and things had worked themselves out or eventually would, for the most part. As expected.

Since Wolf was nowhere to be found, Murata decided to clear his head of any fogginess remaining from the previous night by writing a letter. He wrapped the bedsheets around his lower body and made his way to his desk, only to realize some of his letters were missing.

He considered making his way to the kitchen when the maids actually came to him to take the empty plates from his room. After a few inquiries, it was clear to Murata that the maids knew nothing about the letters.

Which meant that...
