Day 63, Early Morning, Finally Home
Conrad had been away from the castle for a while. He had looked into a small uprising against the current king of Big Shimaron. He and his men had spent a few weeks making sure that the overall treatment of the people there was still as it should be. He knew that if the rebels were not stopped, the people would be hurt in the process. Once the situation was cleared up he would return home.
Only a few weeks after he and his men had helped put a stop to the fighting, he received a message from the castle about some strange happenings. The message had been brief but it had requested his return. He knew Yuuri was still away in his own world so he had decided it wasn’t quite as urgent. But when a second message reached him he decided it was time to return.
He now sat atop his horse riding home from a long journey. He had a feeling that Yuuri might have returned and knew it was best if he returned to his side. However the mention of their being doubles of his beloved king was a little disturbing. He wondered what exactly was going on at the castle. Had one of Anissina’s inventions backfired again? He was certain whatever it was, it meant he needed to get back fast and make sure that Yuuri was indeed safe.
When the castle came into view he couldn’t help but smile. Returning to the smiling face of the person he wished to protect with all his being, always made him feel a little better after a long journey.
Once he passed through the gates and took care of his horse, he wasted no time to head inside the castle.
