Day 57, Late morning

May 03, 2010 14:56

Alford was going to have to figure out how to make this place better. It didn't seem like he was going to get home any time soon, so he was just going to have to make the best of it here. How... He was still working on that. Maybe if he headed into town he could find some more humans who would be a lot more tolerable. His only goal right now was ( Read more... )

Gunter made his bath rather swift, but he surely was in the need for more physical contact. While the memories of his old lover were a little sad, the memories of their more intimate times were what flooded his mind. And he wanted some more.

He hadn't bothered to button his shirt (a few buttons were ripped off anyway) and he was meandering around, looking for someone else to satisfy his hunger. As he passed by one of the sitting rooms, he saw a body he'd not seen for a few days and a grin crossed his face. It would be a definite challenge, but he was more than ready for that today. Especially with how the morning with Gwendal went. He came up behind Alford and placed his hands gently on the other's shoulders. "It's been a while, Alford. Have you been well?"

He had been so intensely trying to figure out what and where the smell was coming from that he hadn't even heard Gunter moving up behind him and he jumped in surprise. Pulling away and whipping around, he glared at the other man. "What are you doing?"

"Ah~ it seems I may have overstepped my bounds. I was just trying to say hello since I've not seen you for a few days~" He had a smile that looked innocent enough, but there was definate motive in his flirtatious tone.

"There's no reason to touch to say hello," he spat, his glare still fixed on Gunter. "And it could've been a few more."

Gunter frowned. "I thought we had gotten along quite fine previously. Has something happened?"

He frowned back. "No..." What was he doing letting his temper get out of control, he was supposed to make these people think he liked them. "Everything's fine," he said through gritted teeth.

"Oh? Then why such the expression? I helped you try and reacquire your sword. I'm no one you should be upset with." He looked like Alford was going to assault him, yet he took a step towards him and held out his hand, palm up as a peace offering.

"I said I wasn't," he growled out, crossing his arms and ignoring Gunter's hand.

Gunter put his arm down, disappointed. "Your words and your actions say different things, Alford. I would have hoped that we could have had a relaxing, possibly enjoyable morning, and since I've yet to eat, maybe some lunch." Though he would rather be able to eat Alford for lunch. Those eyes always did taunt him.

His glare remained, but he dropped his arms down to his sides. "Fine. We can have lunch." No agreements on it being enjoyable though.

Lunch with Alford was a step in the right direction at least, although he'd still rather have a different type of fun. But he knew Alford would be a bit of a challenge. "Alright." He smiled and went to the door, holding it open for Alford to pass through first.

Yes, the demon better hold the door for him. He held his head high as he walked by, not even glancing at Gunter. Hopefully the man wouldn't try to be all buddy buddy throughout the lunch.

Gunter followed Alford down the hallway, probably lingering a little too close for the other's comfort. That nostalgic odor was still prominent and it was taking a bit of will power to not reach out and touch the human. "Say, have you noticed the air around smells rather pleasant today?"

"No," he snapped. "It could smell better."

He increased his pace to put a little more distance between them.

Better? Hm, maybe. This scent mixed with the scent of two bodies doing... well, yes, then it could smell better. But that would feel better too. "I somewhat agree, but what would make it smell better for you?"

He was actually already enjoying the smell just as it was.

He shrugged, muttering under his breath, "less of a demon smell."
