Day 55, Morning

Mar 19, 2010 21:00

Gisela was nervous. She didn't think she should be - it was just Gunter, of all people. But the excitement of finally having her father home was not enough to hide that nagging thread of fear twisting up her stomach. What if it wasn't him? What if she was fooled again by the wrong one? And what kind of daughter can't tell the difference between her own father and a double?

She went to his room first, and hovered outside the door for several long minutes before finally knocking. When no one answered, she knocked louder, and then pushed the door open. The room was empty. No Gunter, no Gunter-double. She shut the door and moved on to his office. But he wasn't there either.

Yuuri said he had gone to get drinks, and she wondered if he perhaps had stayed in the village. It wasn't a large village, and surely someone there would know if a Gunter had graced one of their inns - it wouldn't be too terribly hard to track him down, and she had nothing much else planned...

She hurried to the stables, planning to dress her horse and ride into the village.

ic gunter, day 55, ic gisela
