Early Evening

I've searched all his usual haunts hiding places and I've yet to find him. That's alright, I'm a very patient person and I know eventually he always comes to me. Couldn't hurt to try to draw him out though. I reach into the trunk located in the corner of my small office. They items I'm looking for always sit right there at the top of everything else I've managed to stuff inside the long wood box. I pull out all I need. My bat, two gloves and a pail of balls. The baseballs are newly made, all but the few I returned with many many years ago. Those are now dingy and very old looking. The bat, from Earth as well, is old as well, however, I took good care of it, as well as the gloves. I pick them up and head out the door.

This is the time of day where the sun slips through the windows on the west side of the castle. If you sit perfectly still and concentrate hard enough you can see the shadows moving across the floor. I know this because I spent alot of time hiding in a dark corner playing hide and seek. I would wait for one of my brothers to come find me and draw me out. Mostly, Gwendal would never find me. He'd usually forget we were playing. conviniently Later, Wolfram was just too impatient and he'd start screaming for me to come out or he'd hold his breath until he turned purple. I'd often wait until he was at least blue before appearing.it was fun Those were the days..

While I walk down the long hallways on my way outside, I think to my coversation earlier with Gwendal. I can't say it went all that well but, at least it was civilized. Its very likely I will never see things through Gwendals eyes but, at the same time, I will never outright argue with him either. I'm much to independant to rely on anyone else to satisfy me. If I dont like it, I change it. I make it happen. If I become disatisfied with security, I'll manage to work it out with or without Gwendal's assistance.

Moments later I'm in the courtyard hitting ball after ball. Ducocus tosses them back. I make sure to smack them hard. I know Yurri loves that sharp sound of wood hitting the ball. Shouldn't be too long now.

((ooc: yes its directed towards yurri, but, please, anyone feel free to respond as well))

ic conrad, day 5, ic yuuri
