VaCaTiOn....and other things...
Well, last week was vacation. I had a blast! Monday, we drove up to Sandusky and checked in to our hotel etc. We pretty much watched tv, swam, worked out, and got into the jacuzzi. That's all we did really. It was raining outside and we ordered in pizza. mmm was it good.
On Tuesday, we got up early and went to Cedar Point. We got FRONT ROW parking. That was pretty sweet. All day it was perfect. Nothing but sunshine and fun. Not to mention that it was perfect temperature all day. However, near the end when I went into the Snoopy Boutique and tried to turn on my camera...it failed to work. It got wet on one of the water rides we went on. So I was super depressed that it wouldn't work anymore. So my mom bought me a bunch of stuff to make up for it. After that, we went back to the hotel and swam for a little bit. Swimming is a good way to work off anger/depression btw. After that, we got our showers and then went back into Sandusky to eat out at TGIF. It was awesome. It was the first TGIF that I had been to that was 2 stories! I mean, all the other ones I have been to have been 1 story. So that was pretty sweet. Wednesday, we slept in a little bit and then drove home. It rained all day and so traffic was an issue. But all in all, it was still an adventure in itself.
On Wednesday, after we got back into Columbus, my mom bought me a new DIGI CAM. It's great, I love it! We also stopped at my sister's house and chatted it up with her a bit and had Taco Goup stuff that my brother in law made. DELICIOUS!!!!
On Thursday, we went to the Cinncinatti Zoo and spent all day there. It was extremely hot. Like 91 F outside. (40 C) But, as soon as we left, it got overcast and began to pour down rain. We were also stuck in a traffic jam for quite sometime. At that point, we decided to get off at Kenwood and eat at the Macaroni Grill. Mmmm nothing like italian food!!!!
Friday was a lazy day. However, we went back up to my sister's house and chilled up there like all day. It was cool.
Saturday, we went to the Dayton Air Force Base/Museum. That was awesome. I got to see hundreds of planes! mmm and a couple of guys in uniform as well. ;) ;) hehee. It was perfect weather on Saturday so I enjoyed that a lot. We spent 7 hours there I think. Possibly 8. I was soo tired from walking around all day. But no matter. It was worth it. I got me a t-shirt and hoodie from that place. Woot. The hoodie is ULTRA comfortable as well. Yum! I love me some hoodies!
Sunday, I went to church and everyone attacked me and was glad I was back. I was like O.O the whole time. After church, my mom and I played Snoopy Monopoly. We are playing for a week's length, so we still aren't finished. We LOVE to draw things out sometimes. However, I am winning currently. hehe. >:) Sunday evening I was back at church and it was like a Youth Service where we pretty much ran the service. So it was cool. However, it was really somber this time. Yep.
And so, here I am now, on a Monday... it's overcast and semi-rainy. Shaun got hired onto that job he was training for. I'm so happy for him. I missed him incredibly when I was gone. I couldn't wait to talk to him again. *sigh* I'm so in love with that guy. I mean, it's deep. Anyways, I need a job and soon. So I will try and keep this thing updated as much as possible. Wow, what a time. :)
