I was also wondering if you could rec other prison fics for Sherlock? I don't think I've read any yet.

I'm afraid quite a few of them left me too livid to speak (weak!John is probably one of the quickest ways to piss me off in the Sherlock fandom), but there was one I liked a bit - Meet Me Inside by wakeneve. It still had the prison trope of Sherlock protecting John, but it was definitely the most in character, and the plot was really interesting. Unfortunately, it seems to have been taken down on AO3. v____v
