in my lifetime, before i die, i would like to see the northern lights. can you imagine that? walking home and seeing that when you look up in the sky?
last night, david, greg, and i snuck into tony's backyard, the three of us lying on the hammock looking up, hoping to catch a glimpse of the meteor showers. we counted 5 or 6, i was so happy - i had never seen a shooting star until last night.
this wednesday, my friend jen, who i have not seen in almost 5 years, comes to visit. she and i met at the museum school in boston and now she is in baltimore. she will be leaving for seattle on friday morning and david and i will be leaving for socal that night.
have any of you read the trilogy his dark materials by philip pullman? david introduced me to it. i'm on book two. i don't usually dig fantasy but i love it. i totally wish i had a daemon.
