Decisions, decisions...

Let's see if i can rake in some opinions from the minimal people who actually read my journal.

Ok. Basically I'm standing at a point where i have a fork in my 'life road' as we'll call it in this here post. One route shows me staying here in Fareham, surrounded by countless friends, a decent band to play in and various other things.

The other? It shows me studying at 'Drum-Tech' a music school in London.

It's an incredible school, i watched a DVD about it today that they sent upon my equiry. It's Roll of Honour is astounding, many of their passing musicians going on to work on something great, examples include drummers for Lemar, Courtney Love, Mariah Carey, Westlife, and loooooooooads more. The only way i can go any time soon is to take out a loan, which im seriously considering doing. I'll be taking either the 1 year diploma course, or the master performance course, also 1 year long. Then after that, if either one of them qualifies me for it, i'll be taking a 3 year course, for a BMus Degree in Popular Music Performance.

How much is this going to cost me...? For the 1 year courses, the total cost is £5295, and thats just the course, thats without living expenses, food, water, rent whatever, for a house or flat in london. For the master perfomance it's £6450, though this is a better course.

And IF i can go for the degree afterwards, i'll be paying a further £2700 per year.

I'm more driven to do this now than i ever have, as it's been made quite clear to me that if i don't get somewhere in music, im not going amount to anything. At all. I can't even fucking work in a warehouse and not bollock things up, so. Yeah.

So... what do you think?
