So second day of summer school = not bad! Yesterday I was kind of lazy and miserable and bitter like an old lady but I actually really made the most of today (except for fourth period coughcough) in terms of my work. I did a whole French unit in a day and my class isn't as bad as I expected! wowowow.

Anyway, it was nice out today if it wasn't for the fact that it was steaming outside and I felt like a stalk of asparagus in a pot. I actually liked what I wore today, woo!, and got called a petunia (laskdjsakljaf Gabbie you are so cute). Plus Mrs. Stewart is teaching my science class again YAY! She's super nice and adorable and so bubbly it's almost scary. She also randomly yells at us in Polish when we're talking too loud, and nobody understands it except perhaps Tommy and we're all like whuuuuut and we laugh.

English, my third and fourth, is probably my favourite time of day, mostly because I have it with three of my favourite people--Karlah, Meg and John Souri--and we get into fun stuff. Bonus: Rossi Doesn't Care! Today, anglais pretty much consisted of Karlah, Meg and me doodling on Post-its (my favourites are of a three-Post-It vertical panorama of a guy falling down a well that I drew, and Karlah's toothbrush Soviet Russia sickle thingy), playing tic-tac-toe, and having our own spelling bee. I got to talking about a billion different things with John, from ✖EX*TREME✖ body piercings to bras that send off sparks to tattoos. I then drew a star on my arm, à la Nick Zinner, but it ended up looking more like the star on the Command insignia. I was then called a geek. Hoo-ray!

+++ In an hour or so I am going with my family to see The Last Airbender (STICK AN 'AVATAR' IN THE TITLE ALREADY, M. NIGHT SHYAMALAN, WHO CARES ABOUT TALL BLUE PEOPLE). Being a huge fan of the show since the fifth or sixth grade I expect the world from it, which probably isn't wise. I've tried not to listen to anybody talking about how bad it was haha. I hope it at least does the show some justice!

What bothers me is how in the world are they going to fit four seasons' worth of plot into a whole movie!?, and why on earth is JACKSON RATHBONE, brooding sparkly VAMPIRE, playing SOKKA, king of COMIC RELIEF!?!?  It's like if they made a live-action Americanized P3 movie and got, I dunno, Chace Crawford to play Junpei or something. I KNOW RIGHT. I kind of like Jackson Rathbone but I am not expecting the Sokka I love from him. :I

Oh well, I am excited anyway; to me, movies are what summer is all about! I still have Star Trek, Sherlock Holmes and Whip It waiting for me in my DVD cabinet as a way for me to celebrate summer school graduation at the end of the month. :D I would love to know what your summers have been like so far if you're not busy swimming // camping // climbing trees // flying kites at the moment!

school, summer summer summer, life, stop talking genina, fun
