. . . every time I artblock, I come up with a new character. (and that I name them after song parts/something having to do with music!?)
fr srs! last time I was going through a block, that was the birth of Bridge. And now that I'm going through another one, I come up with this guy:
hfgdshjfg THEORY! ("font" =
ditch the logical) sorry it's kinda big; I figured that it'd be harder for you to tell that one of his legs is shorter. oops.
I haven't figured out a way to work him into my story yet, but I'm sure I'll find a way. (: It's also a good opportunity for me to practice figures, proportions, poses--especially sitting positions (like you see here, lol) because I sort of see him as an insecure, but strong character. eh?
So I guess I should see it as a blessing in disguise whenever I go through an artblock. xD

My sister bought Day & Age for me last night (TOTARRY WORSHIPPING HER NOW) and right now, I'm listening to the seventh track, I Can't Stay (which sounds. SO NICE. though it has a certain element to it that reminds me of Maroon 5 still.)
All I have to say right now is . . . meh. A Dustland Fairytale was good, Joy Ride was okay, Losing Touch as well--but right now I'm having a hard time interpreting their sound. D:
I tink it was Joy Ride when I thought of Maroon 5 upon hearing the guitar part, and Coldplay upon hearing Losing Touch, but that's only instrumentally; I'm happy that Brandon's still got that effortlessly pretty voice of his. :'D
Also the cover/design is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS AHH PURPLE~~ this is what I love about getting CDs and not just downloading off the interwebs <3
And then again, "meh" was my initial reaction to Sawdust when I first bought it and after a while I grew to really appreciate and love it, so that'll probably happen with Day & Age as well. n___n *caress*
. . . and the tracks are too short. D{:<
