How cool is this?!
So there's this not-for-profit writers centre in the US called 826LA. They do all this amazing stuff to encourage writers.. but even cooler than that is the fact that at their locations, they have "joke" stores. Instead of selling boring coffee mugs and tshirts and stuff, they have amazing shopfronts. They have 826 Seattle's Greenwood Space Travel Supply, 826NYC's Brooklyn Superhero Supply, The Pirate Store at 826 Valencia in SF, and 826CHI's The Boring Store.
And in LA they have "The Echo Park Time Travel Mart"
You can get all of your favourite items from anywhen. I really can't pick a favourite... though "Viking Oderant" has got to be right up there:
