[EDIT - Just to clarify, I loved, loved, loved the first 4 Dark Tower books, and was quite close to putting them else where in my list in a better light. It is perhaps because I felt so strongly for those books that what I say as a drop in quality for the last couple bothered me so much. I wouldn't want anyone to think I dislike the series. The reason they are in the "books I couldn't stand" section is not that I think they are the worst ever by any means, but since I very rarely read books I'm not interested in, my only real source for disliked reading comes from something that I kept on with because of a strong bond to the series (Harry Potter feels like it may be heading the same way - HP:5 came quite close to beating Grapes of Wrath on to the list).]
