Bleh I really don't like this new approach to lazy academics. And that guy teaches an AP class... well clearly his students are more motivated, you can't get away with that in a lot of other schools though. And besides, the US already gives students less homework than any other nation in the world, and now everyone's complaining that it should be abolished? You spend one hour a day in class, it's impossible to learn everything you need to know in there. Of course colleges don't give out homework, but that's different, you're expected to study for exams and stuff... high school is mandatory, not everyone is motivated. But then the whole high school system is screwed up int he first place... ah education rant!

And wtf why do people always try to say that medications make them not able to see right from wrong? If so many people are taking it, why didn't they shoot their grandparents? And the article even said he tried to hide the crime so he knew it was wrong, bleh. Maybe 30 years is a lot but if someone is screwed up like that at 12 already, there probably isn't much hope for them.

Harvard's private anyways so I guess that's okay. It wouldn't be so bad anyways if Religion were an umbrella term for all types of spirituality and even Atheist beliefs/justifications/blah blah blah. After all it is belief is a big part of life even if you don't have any :P

Obviously he was depressed, feel sorry! Rational people don't really commit suicide. But yeah... hasn't he heard of a thing called the internet? :P

I think most 12 year olds know that killing is wrong. But it's the fact that we punish youth in this country as adults for EVERYTHING. Ywt we still don't let them vote, drink alcohal, smoke. Not that I think they should do those things. But it's hypocritical. And I HATE!!! hypocrits.
