One Week Left!
After fours weeks in the photolab at work I'm finally going back onto the floor at the end of this week.
I don't mind being in the lab, I just get bored being stuck behind a counter all day, I miss out on all the more interesing stuff on the floor. Plus when I 'm in the lab and a customer wants have a go, it's what I cannot do, go, coz I'm stuck there. At least on the floor I can walk off!
Brad our "supposed" night DM (dept manager) didn't rock up on Friday, this now means his position is free. Whether they put me into the position like I've been doing the last month before I went into the lab for a few weeks I don't know, but I am guranteed to be working those hours again as they were pleased with my work. All the people under me when I worked want me back! The boys on nights are begging for me to come back, and the recovery staff, or as I love to call them/they love me to call them "my girls" (I call them this as the look upto me, come to me for help and advice, and want me as their manager AND they listen) want me back and were jumpingn up and down on Friday night as Brad didn't show.
What else? Ummmm...... Ah, it's Nan's birthday tomorrow and as everyone works we had a suprise birthday lunch set up for today for her. She loved it, and appreciated everyone coming. The food wasn't too bad after all the stuff ups that happened with the ordering.
Lastly, I was on EZYDVD's website the other day and to my wonderful suprise I found that they are rekleasing THE BILL: SERIES 1-3 on dvd on the 10th of May! SO VERY HAPPY AT THIS AT LAST! All theyt need to do now is release series 7 of Bad Girls and more episodes of Prisoner and I'll be really happy!
