Going on with Robert
What a crazy couple of weeks.
I started working at IBM, taking calls at the old TeleTech building. The training program is 7 weeks long and begins at 5 AM everyday. They pay $10.50 hour. IBM is still hiring through the Silverdale Manpower office. It was the first job to come along that was more than minimum wage.
So far I've learned a whole lot about cell phones and service plans, as well as what to expect of the general public when in a customer service roll via a telephone. Not what I'd call fun, but it's steady work.
So far everythin is OK. I don't like getting up at 3:30Am to be at work by 5, but it's cool getting out at 2PM and having the rest of the evening to do stuff. I just can't stay awake after 9PM :(
Saturday morning James and I went and picked up a Jukebox. It was one of the thing on James' list of 'things to do before I die.' It works and stores 120 45 records. it takes quarters and $.50 coins! Later that same day, the two of us hit Seattle to go to the market and look for vinyl. He ended up buying a Grateful Dead album. We had a great time, and we met up with one of his old 4H friends. Diner included Burriots that were as big as a child. I KID you not!! get it...? seriously though, it was fun.
Weekend before that was Sakura Con. As some know, I went as a passe-by and non-attendee. It was actually pretty great. I did get to see all the dumb stuff that I couldn't afford in the dealer room. So great! Mark cosplayed as Adeptous Mechanicus. I'm sure that isn't spelled correctly. Lisa went dressed as Tali. I walked around with them as they posed and had attention lavished upon them. I'm not a Saku-con fan to tell the truth. It is not my type of atmosphere. The fan girls and teh gehi are not for meh.

I lost one of my Pokewalkers at work!
Technium, please come home! You were the best Metagross a trainer could ask for. I don't know why some one would keep a Pokewalker they found. It's tied to my game and it isn't worth any money. I just want my Pokemon back! Some jerk at TeleTech took it from the top of the lockers when it fell out. I was beside myself with anger for a couple days, but I'm beyond that now. I guess I'll just have to raise another perfect Metagross to level 80...
I will name it Technious to honor the fallen.
Really, why would someone want to keep a Pokewalker!?!?
I'm playing MOther 3 and Minecraft these days. Not reading anything. Watching Puella Magi Madouka, on ep9 of 12 OMG it is DARK for a Magical girl show. <3
