(no subject)
I failed February Draw Everday Challenge horribly, but I am totally okay with this.
I don't know if maybe I'm just kind of taking a break from drawing or what. For some reason, since I've really buckled down on my art it's harder for me to just draw frivolously. Not that I don't still enjoy it. My artistic temperament has changed so much in the past two years it's a little confusing. Anyway.

Argh my scanner is going blind in it's old age. It doesn't know what pencil lines are anymore. Rincewind and Twoflower from Discworld. Twoflower is like christmas-elf size because I added Rincewind in as a second thought and he ended up being way too big. Rincewind actually had a second leg but my scanner's cataract problem is pretty awful.
First sketch of Twoflower's face. Definitely not my best but I feel is post worthy at least to show my casual drawings. He has four eyes and placing them properly is really challenging.
Twoflower -again- this time his face is properly fleshed out and his extra eyes are mostly hidden by his fancy bucket style hat. I drew them and then erased them after while cleaning up the sketch which upset me because they were placed beautifully this time. YOU WIN SOME/LOSE SOME.
THAT BOY NEEDS THERAPY
Drawn in art class today during a study of faces over the course of 30/40 minutes i habeeb. The features are a bit floaty but over all I'm happy with it as a first shot. I want to draw vintage babes like Andrew Loomis and I want them to be realistic and lavishly painted. I love drawing babes.
A manly babe. Pentel Pocket brush pen. I love short hair styles like that unnh. She's a cop I think.
Mindy the showgirl looking world weary for some reason. Pocket brush. I love the texture it creates when I move it fast. Drawn while waiting for Sam in the apartment foyer. I wait for her there often. Maybe one day I says hello to her.
There's a lot wrong with this (the dress physics, for one) but I'm so, so happy with it stylistically that I don't care.
