230-odd years before Emo, there was only... Werther

Aaaaaawhhhhhhhh! Omar! You see, THIS is why I love you!
I was going to do "The Daughters of Freya" (see emailmystery.com), but you found one better (in the heirarchy, free beats cold and good)

Ok, I swear I looked up epistolory novels, but what exactly are you doing? Do you web-illustrate or send out sections at a time of the novel? I am fascinated by this whole idea. (except for the part where I feel like I'm back in the TSC web theory class, but that was still interesting in a scary way, heh)

I'm not doing anything, as it's already been done better.

BUT this Wether thing will send you one epistle a day from the novel The Sorrows of Young Werther by Goethe if you sign up.

Others have been posting epistolory novels to livejournal for fun: there's lesliaisons1782 and dracula1897, for example.

I read it over the summer, so I'm not doing it. But I still think it's a sweet, sweet idea. They've got the German version available too if you sprachen it (I sure don't).
