we went to the studio tonight. dropped a track or two.... time flies.
La Rumba should be the shit on Friday night. full fledged cast coming out. I'm not going to name them, you should just show up. seriously. forealsies. the one that grew on me is supposedly coming to spend a couple days out here in Covington. I'm not sure how that's going to turn out, we'll see though. I hope she doesn't expect to be entertained or eat. if she's down with doing little to nothing, it's ON.
sometime in early august my parents are coming to the Atlanta area. this year, the family reunion is here..so... I talked with my mother the other day, apparently she didn't think I'd go.. so she didn't register me. OH NO! that means I don't get a cornball "Green Family Reunion" T-shirt. She acts like it's a convention or something. Like, if I don't have my badge.. security will escort me off of the premises!
I won't be staying there though.. I wish I'd told her I was going for sure.. I'd have had a free hotel room in Atlanta by myself for a couple days. fuck a family reunion, that's a free party spot. Oh well.. I guess my lack of enthusiasm in the past has come back to haunt me. I'll still go kick it up there though.. .accompanied by one that's confused. we'll be like a platonic Bonnie and Clyde.
