So the XCP alumni magazine came in the mail today. (What is up with that? It seems like we just *got* stupid mail from them.)
I flipped through it and noticed the caption under a photo that said "[insert teacher's name] loves that Xavier students are well prepared for academic challenges".
I guess that depends on your definition of "academic challenges". If it means 'thinking on your own', then no, XCP students aren't prepared in the least. If it means 'memorizing what the teacher says and repeating it back', then yes, by all means, XCP students can do that.
I am sick to death of getting these stupid newsletters and whatnot from XCP. I want my name taken OFF the freaking mailing list.
