conversation i just had with my sister

sister: dad has decided that from now on he is going to talk without opening his mouth. he thinks it is fun for everybody. it is driving me insane

sister: he also thinks he is a ventriliquist

sister: not true.

me: what?

me: who is he

sister: i know

me: seriously

me: that is by far one of his weirder moves

sister: now he has progressed to just mouthing all of his words. moving his lips but not making sounds, as opposed to the previous not moving his lips and making incoherent sounds
