Let's counteract all this emo, shall we?
I love fall. I even love chilly, drizzly days, because that means sweaters and jeans and converses and hot coffee and naps on rainy days and most importantly, fall means Thanksgiving and Christmas are so close you can practically taste it.
Which reminds me - Christmas is just about the greatest thing in the whole entire world. I love that my family does the same things every year. I love that we still cram 15 people into a 4 bedroom house for 3 days. I absolutely love giving presents to people I love. Most of all, I love that I have a family that I love and genuinely enjoy spending time with.
Despite my unimaginable work load this semester, I am excited that college is finally, FINALLY coming to a close. I can feel it - I'm almost done!
Oh, Hannah. She's in KINDERGARTEN. She plays soccer. She's reading and writing and doing all these things by herself that it is second nature for me to do for her. She's less and less like a little girl every day - She just seems so grown up... she's adorable, considerate and unbelievably smart. I swear, Wesley (and anyone else who reads this that knows who I'm talking about), if you saw her, you wouldn't know who it was.
I started my student teaching placement. 9th grade World History, mostly. Not my best subject, so it's a little scary, but it's good to actually be in the classroom, working with kids and reconciling the fact that I am a teacher in my own head. My school is beand new and nicer than most of my college's buildings. It's absolutely amazing.
So, all in all, life is hectic and stressful, but good. Taking everything in stride and looking forward to fall break! How is everyone?
