I promised a kid I'd do something about all the fresh water.

Oh, I see. So it's a philanthropy thing.

I know she's not a neriad, but she's got some kind of ocean tie. So... I told her I'd bring us a chunk of the sea if I could.

So you just woke up this morning and could do things like this again?

I woke up and didn't get wet in the shower.

So I guess it's true, then. If you survive here long enough, stuff starts coming back.

Because not having the ocean around at all sucks infinitely.

Kinda seems like there's a price to pay, though, doesn't it?
