Chapter Four: I Make A Game Plan.

[ Today, the doors to the high school gym are closed, with a sloppily written Secret basketball strategy meeting note taped to them. Inside, there are no drones, just school-aged kids. ]

Okay, today I want to figure out some basic stuff. First, what have people tried to get out of here? Second, what's the most dangerous stuff that happens here?

"Um, I only know about a vampire. Who said he would get me if I told people about him so please don't all go looking for him or at least don't say it was me..

Otherwise I don't know anything dangerous. Also, you can't leave on foot, at least not by the streets."

Vampires. Great.

I guess I should have asked about the most dangerous things.

"Oh. I don't know. They warned me about The Police, The Mayor, The Postman and the Post office. Oh yeah and the Milkman.

Also a family called the Smiths."

What do they do?

[pants_yourmove]

"...You know? I don't actually know. I just got told they are dangerous and to be careful."

Okay, no more being afraid of things you don't know why you're afraid of.

"So... you think I should go test them out?"

No -- I think we should talk to people who know more and figure out what's going on.

"Ah, yeah Ciel seemed to know a lot about this town. She didn't specifically say why they were bad though.

Oh wait, no, The Postman offers you things and takes body parts and... memories I think?"

I heard about that.

Thing is, I like my body parts and my memories, so I'm a lot more interesting in getting stuff back the other way.

"I don't want anything back so I'll stay away."

Not even to defend yourself?

"What would they have that I could defend myself with?"

I can think of some talents that'd come in handy.

"I thought you only got back your own stuff?"
