How the mood is different from normal, I have no idea.
Anyway, I owe someone an update. Actually I owed this person an update a few weeks ago, but better late than never, right? I wasn't sure what was appropriate to post and wasn't, I dunno who still reads this and I've been in trouble over LJ entries before, which I guess is the danger. Oh well. I'm still not sure what is safe to talk about, so I'll tell people who I haven't talked to in forever *coughLZcough* what's been going on in my life.

Wasn't that exciting? Ha! Man, what a wild and crazy life I lead, those were some nutty times.
Seriously though. I'm back in Savannah now, after a brief and mostly failed tenure at the illustrious Georgia Southern University. I've finally decided I'm not cut out to be a full time student. I no longer have the patience to sit through those mind-numbing classes. I'm not paying money to not learn for 4 years and then get a worthless piece of paper. So, I'm in school part time to appease mom and working. Or, will be in the fall, for now I'm just job hunting. All those years of dorky online gaming paid off in the typing skills department, at least. HuzZAH! Also been looking into a job teaching German at the Goethe Institut in Hot-lanta, but I'm hesitant to move back there. Not really a big city kind of guy.
In other news, since the last time I updated I've been through two girlfriends. Some good times, some bad, you know how it goes. I think the big difference in these relationships has been the settling down angle, before them I'd never been terribly interested in settling down, I was too busy sowing my wild oats and what have you. So.. I guess that's positive. Not that I'm not still a raging sex machine, mind you, it's just more focused now.
I play a whole lot of WoW (World of Warcraft for you non-nerds) now, on various servers. Got characters on Uther, Eldre'Thalas, Dalaran, and Scarlet Crusade now, wheeeeee. Too much free time until I get a job. Living with mom, which sounds creepy, but she's actually a really cool roommate. I can honestly say that I love my mom and respect her a lot as a person, we get on great, more like an adult friend most times than my mom. Though she is, of course, still mommy and we do have our disagreements. My sister is at UGA doing VERY well. Who'd have thought she'd turn out to be the smart one? I'm really proud of her though, in that big brother way. Kind of scary to picture my baby sister as a neurologist, but hey, if that's what she wants to do...
Socially, well, I hang out with Rico and Ruth, and then other times I go hang out with Ruth and Rico. Seriously. That's it. I've seen Cassandra a couple times since I got home, Barry once or twice in the mall. I need to call Rauers but she's kind of scary (kidding of course Sarah, I love you!). Actually I'm not even sure if I'm still on people's friends lists, it's been so ungodly long since I updated. And I likely won't update again for a good while, so don't get your hopes up. Who knows though, maybe if I get lots of loving comments I'll make my epic comeback to the thundering applause of my adoring fans.
Anyway, I think this is long enough. The thing I got in return for owing a post was of course worth a novel, but the rest of you shouldn't have to suffer through any more of my drivel. We'll just consider this payment and full, with further owed entries to be negotiated possibly in the future. For now, I leave you with one final thought.
