Hehehe.... SPRING WEEK...
It was so fun.
I suppose I'll start at the begining,
Monday= Pajama day; Ian and I went and got some bitchin socks with coolio grips and he wore his the rest of the day.... I had a shirt that said "My PJs are Under My Pants" but Eric completely schooled me with his "I SLEEP IN THE NUDE" Tee, which Konrad quickly shook his fist at. Alas, oh well, Eric still pulled off his badass self and wore it for the rest of the day.
Tuesday= Tropical Day; One word: Amazing. I showed up in my Honolua Surf Co. Rashguard that definetly shows off my body, and eric wore his clashing surf suit as well. In the morning, Paul and Eric and I went to Eric's locker and got out his Scuba suit, which paul put on and boardshorts on over it. It was...amazing. We walked around like we owned the place all with our "Get Leied Leis" for the rest of the day. I kept getting comments with people like, "Yup, Kyle, I could DEFINETLY see you as a surfer" and i'm like... well.... duh... I guess people just can't deal with the fact that it is possible to LEAVE Chicago to fine real waves. Oh well
Wednesday= Pirate Day; Late arival and pirates...a winning combination. Megan and Laura pulled off their Bar Wench suits, while Eric did the traditional White-and-Red- Striped-Shirt-With-Parrot deal. Haha, Emily Perkins put mascara on him, but one eye got so screwed up... thankfully he had an eyepatch for that. I only wore my El Diablo shirt, bandana, and rippy pants... OO and Paul's Stud belt, but i didn't look as piraty as I wanted to. HOWEVER, i did have a huge bag of chocolate coins titled "My Booty" and i went up to everyone going "Geeharrrr, would you like some of my booty" Responses were amazing, but the best response was Rob's, "Now I can easily say that I've had a taste of Kyle's Booty". The grand prize, however, Goes to the Paul man, who put pulled off the eye makeup very well, made his own hat, and, well, just looked like he was about to pillage my town!
Thursday= Crazy Hair Day/ St. Pattrick's Day; A little bit more uneventful than the other days, but still fun. Eric and Dan Ford, and I all drew shamrocks on our forearms in permanent marker... and now I can't get mine off! Lol, it's all good though. I wore my "Stumble Inn" T-Shirt and my pimp Shamrock choker, which i have decided I look hot in and i'm going to wear more often. They gave out some cool Shirts and I put a ton of "O 8"s in my hair becasue we were supposed to show off our graduating class to get a shirt, But Blair beat me, putting Buns in the shape of "0 8" in her hair. The rest of the night was mainly me talking to Selin all night. She's pretty cool--in like a week we've gotten to know a ton about her.
Friday= Blue and Orange Day; Shortened periods, Illini shirt, Tightish pants- it's all good. Hehe... We were all crazy all day... Math was mainly a joke all day AND i got a 19/21 on my GP Test!!!! I scrambled to get 4 of the 7 questions done in the last 5 minutes of the period! and I got all but one right! I was so excited. Study Hall was hillarious. Some weirdos in my class always pretend to be cool by shouting out little noises as if the supervisor won't notice, and they think they're being all badass about it, but it's really not that funny. Anyway, they were doing the usuall, but then Peter Chan YELLED out in the middle of our silent class some chinese word that really sounded like the begining to the Lion Kind in a really high voice and EVERYONE in the class exploded with laughter, even some of the girls that don't laugh at anything. The Assembly was pretty cool. Eric and Paul and I sat in the upper balcony 'cause we're jsut that cool. Watched some of the airband and incredebly horny Kenyan Dancers... Good times.
Saturday= SPRING! Day started a bit hectic, But once people started showing up at my house I knew we were in for some fun. We got all the pictures from all the parents; I still see little white dots when I blink, but it's all fun. I'm proud of Tara for dealing with the pictures that I know she hates (For some reason). It was fun. Ian and Jeff (Boy Stags) were surrounded by all the girls for a picture, and Amanda (The Staggette) Was surrounded with all us studly guys for a picture, too. [I'll post those later becsaue they're on my dad's camera]. We got to dinner at the resteraunt that my sister works as, City Club to a dinner table that was set so nicely. Flowers and springlike ribbon were scattered across the center with candles and little vases with more flowers. Every two seats had a homemade menu made by my sister and her scrapbooking skills; all decorated with tinkerbelles and shooting stars and a ton of glitter to aptly display our theme, "Return To Neverland". Also, included with the menus, little party favors of wrapped up Dentine Ice and Oral-B Brushups (Paul: Wouldn't it be funny if the brand was acalled "B-Oral"?) that had couples' names written on it, and the best was the one saying "Jeff and Ian" (
)haha. Dinner was amazing and we all had a fun time, And it was off to the dance.
The school was all dressed up for Neverland. Begining with a bed full of stuffed animals and a Christmaslight lit skyline of London and Big Ben, and then in the main dance area, there were motorized breezy palmtrees, a faux-waterfall, and a pirate ship! Captain hook even visited the dance floor, and Paul and Eric and Jeff all jumped on Cap'n's mini stage and started dancing with him! All the gang created our own little group, close to the music, but away from the Grind Pit. However, Ian and Tara and Emily took quite a few trips the "The Middle" of the grinding and had a rather... good time. It is amazing how dirrty some of my close friends *caughtaraemily* can get when they're in a steaming group of moving bodies and blaring music. Speaking of music, they played much better music than homecoming. A lot more fun ones instead of playing Usher's Yeah song 8 times, they played Love Shack and Cotton Eye Joe and even I'll Be, Blair and my song. People were gettin pretty low and leanin' back and shakin' it like a poloroid picture. It was great, and everyone I think had a great time. My Tinkerbelle, Tara looked beautifull tonight, and I'm glad I was with her.
Afterparty at Laura's!!!! As if we expected any other way to end the night. I love being surrounded by the people I love having fun and joking around and singing and dancing and grooving to the music. [Play that funky music, white boy!] Laura and I had a very fun time with a couple lucky apples, Rob Nikki and I had a train of back massages going on, and I can only hope Bobby doesn't mind me all over his date. Haha. I made a few great CDs that took me 2 hours to make, but they were filled with some great songs, from Buddy Holly and Relient K- Sadie Hawkins to Oldies like Saturday in the Park and Hand Me Down World---- Great songs to accompany the night.
And so is the end of a great night and a great week. Only one more day of school left untill SPRING BREAK '05. Goodnight everyone!
