We're due on the fifth of december!tarantism24April 17 2007, 02:53:48 UTC
I'm pregnant too! Dec. Fifth for us but I'm thinking it'll be a bit sooner. I once again am throwing up all the time so we had our first IV tank up at Clarion North and I LOOOOOOVE them and my new doctors. I feel like even with having hyperemesis again (sigh), this will be a very different experience. Yay!
I met your best friend yesterday officially! Luci and K. are already very good friends. Come see us, you know where we live darnit! I also had a Cloth Diapering question for you! Much love

Congrats! The m/s / hypermesis has started for me yet.. I expect it to start here in a week or 2. Ugh, maybe I'll get lucky and this one will be different. I'm not holding my breath. I've heard good things about Clarian North.
Let me know you cloth diapering questions and I'll try to help you out.

we want to cloth diaper with the baby and I have no idea even where to start! I'm pretty overwhelmed by all of the options. Any tips? How are you doing these days? HG hit again or did you get lucky this time?

I'm boardering on HG this time but have been holding it at bay sometimes with phenergan... with is weird because it didn't work w/ stella.. i've used zofran a few days too... What kind of money do you want to spend on cloth diapers? I know we are suppose to have a CD party sometime soon and you could see some there... I can show you what I have too.

We're leaning towards CPF's and covers. Not sure what the best covers are yet but hearing a lot about Bummis whisper wraps. Not sure if I want to do wool for nites or AIO's. It's a big scary world of cloth diapers out there! On another note, are you still making carriers? I want a meitei but would like to try one on first. I'm going to make my own wrap as that seems basic enough. I already have my mayawrap but I remember losing Luci in it as a munchkin because it seemed to envelop her.

Yeah I'm still making meitais and slings.... With stelli we used a combo of Very Baby AIOs and CPF and Bummies WHisper wraps. I love, love the convience of the AIO but they would not work well with heavy wetter over night. For over night we use Fuzzu Bunzs pockest with hemp inserts. I love hemp inserts because they are soooo absorbent. FOr this baby I already have a bunch of ProWraps covers and will prebably get some CPF and Kissaluv fitteds to go with them. ANd then probably 4-5 sm FBs and 2-3 AIOs to cover the small size. I like a mixture because certian things work better in different situations. I have used some wool and its OK. It can be a total pain in the ass to wash and can sometime be ruined by improper washing (Nick accidentaly ruined my beautiful $40 longies by throwing them in the wash). I really like longies with a fitted for a winter baby but will probably be passing on all the other wool. It really wasn't worth the hassel in my eyes.

I'm going to go get some jersey knit and work on a wrap. I should be able to get two out of 5 yards of fabric. Want the second? I'm also contemplating wether a sari I have would work in a ring sling. Lots o' people really seem to like silk RS's and I love this sari. Again probably enough fabric for two if you're interested. I'd love to try a mei tei on at some point. Do you have the padded straps or the ones that spread over the shoulders?
