Circ Hurts
A a friend of mine called me today to relay the message that the little boy that I attended the birth of last week almost bled to death while snuggled in his bassinet. He was circumsized this moring and had complications about 3 hours later. Please, please think critically and educate about this surgery before you submit your child to this. It is a surgery no matter how routine or small. It isn't medically necessary. It is a cosmetic surgery.
My dear friend knew it was wrong but had it done any way because of her religious beliefs and now she feels so lost, guilty, and scared. Please keep her and her beautiful son in your thoughts and prayers.
