Mark and Ris
Finally some photos of my rats. Most photos were taken by mom's friends. I take photos of them too but rats are tricky to take photos of - they are fast and don't like cameras.
They are really young on this photo, possibly their first or second day at home.
They used to be really different in color - Mark (on the left) was darker gray and Ris (on the right) was more copper. But then Mark developed a badger-like dark stripe on his back, then it faded and only a dark "cap" was left on his head. Ris was getting more gray with copper spots on his back and his head.
Now they are both lighter gray (and both don't like posing for photos).
Ris is more calm and is the first one to explore new places.
Mark is more nervous but (surprisingly) he is better at getting used to new people.
Actually they are surprisingly friendly for such young rats, they want to hang around people (well, people they know) all the time.
I'll try to post photos of them regularly!
