I survived the weekend

Well I didn't die from yard work. I'm very surprised too. On Saturday I mowed the lawn and did the detailed version which meant the weed wacker too. I took a lot of breaks so not to over do it. I had a lot of energy even though my throat was sore and my eyes were burning like crazy. Yea the pollen is unbelievable this spring. By night fall the only victim of my efforts was my voice. I lost it from all of the pollen I inhaled while outside. Today I’m run down from my allergies but at least I someone have a voice. I still sound like I smoke 3 packs a day.

Today I attempted some shopping. Looked for patio furniture. Found nothing I like or was the right size. I really don’t need a table and chairs for 12 people. Don’t like the “in” color this year either, tan. Blends in too much. I want black for contrast with all of the tan I have. I also went to nurseries to look for shrubbery. I’m clueless on what to get and I can’t get help in places like that since I’m not dragging a wife around. I’ll have to drag my sister with me next weekend so I can get plenty of attention. What I really need is a landscape designer and a bunch of illegals from Mexico to do the work for me. Only successful thing I bought was a new hard drive for the computer. 250 GB is much bigger than I need but the 160’s have become next to impossible to find as I suspect 250 has become the new minimum size. I actual saw a 1 TB hard drive. I can remember a long, long time ago when 120 MB was huge.
