My holiday video
Merry Christmas to evey one here at LJ. I finally finished this years video which can be seen here:

Several years ago I started to do an imitation of William Shatner doing a spoken voice version of the Cyrus Chestnut version of the song. Of course I did this in the privacy of my own home. So me and my big mouth did it a bit in Las Vegas when some guy was singing it. It was suggested that I do that version of the song for this years video.
I searched and searched to find a version of the song, w/o vocals that would allow me do to it in a Shatneresk way. No luck so I used 101 Strings instead and did a dramatic spoken voice version.
Filming was a bit of a pain. First attempt was canceled by snow. When I did get around to it the next day I was dead tired and I started to get bags under my eyes. I was much more energetic the day before. Any who, then there was the intro. I filmed 4 versions of that today. I wasn't happy with the first three. One was outside in the snow sorting my mail and tossing all the junk mail to the side, the other was with the fire place but I looked ultra tubby in that one and the light levels were the overly bright (compared to the too dark of the song). With my self imposed 2000 GMT deadline 1 hour away , I said "eff it" and re-did it again for the nice short version seen.
