Time keeps dragging on!!
Lets see, according to my LMP I'm supposed to be 7w2d, but according to my u/s, I'm actually only 7w1d. Whatever one day doesn't make much of a difference does it? LOL! Every day seems like it drags on, but then I look on here and realize it's been 10 days since my last post and I'm almost 2 months preggo! I guess it's not going by that slowly! Here's my u/s from Friday. Measured at 6w4d.
I got to see the heartbeat!! OMG I was so freaking happy to see that little flicker! I cried my eyes out!! For some reason Darrell wasn't allowed in the room. He was happy to hear everything was looking good tho. I started spotting again just before I had the u/s. It's gone away since. I'm thinking that spotting might just be an unfortunate reality for this pregnancy. All I can do is hope my little bean is sticky! Nausea comes and goes. I'm ridiculously hungry today for some reason. Probably because we have hardly any groceries in the house until payday this Friday.
I've done a bunch of gender prediction things and they all say girl! (I'm secretly hoping for a boy, but I will take whatever we get as long as it's healthy!!) Apparently the Chinese say according to my age and month of conception its a girl. According to a quiz on Babycenter.ca it's a girl. And according to this theory called the Ramzi theory, since the placenta appears to be on the left side of my uterus, it's a girl. I'm thinking about stringing my wedding ring up and dangling it over my belly to see if that says girl too. Maybe the draino test? hahahah! If it's a girl names I like so far are Olivia, Scarlet, Isabel, and Rory. If its a boy I like Jack, but Darrell is still dead set on naming a boy Mark after his dad. Sigh... We'll see who wins this battle. :)
