So I'm hearing the familiar opening beat to Twisted Sister's "We're Not Gonna Take It", and then Dee Snider comes in, belting out "Oh Come All Ye Faithful"...

Nope, it's not a line in a sitcom episode, it's A Twisted Christmas... disturbing, to be sure. And yet I can't stop listening to it...

What's really scary? Dee Snider sounds better than Lita Ford in "I'll Be Home for Christmas". :D

And then there's this....

On my Heavy Metal Christmas my true love gave to me
12 silver crosses,
11 black mascaras,
10 pairs of platforms,
9 tattered T-shirts,
8 pentagrams,
7 leather jackets,
6 cans of hair spray,
5 skull earrings,
4 quarts of Jack,
3 studded belts,
2 pairs of spandex pants,
and a tattoo of Ozzy

A reviewer for allmusic.com describes it as "almost impossible to turn off without seeing it through to its loathsome but charming end." LOL

ETA: Just got this one...
Twisted Sister's I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus --> Judas Priest's You've Got Another Thing Comin' ...LOL :)

I know there are more parallels, I just can't recognize all the riffs right off the top of my head. But some of them sound so familiar... it's been too long since I heard them, I suppose...

music, holidays
