So I'm working on a pattern from SnB Nation... and I run across the abbreviation EOR. I'm not familiar with it, but being a programmer--and after two decades or so using the acronym EOF to mean "End of File"--I immediately tag it as "End of Row". Makes sense, right?

It would, only in this publication it means Every Other Row.

I'm glad I looked it up to confirm. Otherwise I would end up with a funky looking tank top... :)
