Knitting stuff
Mudflap girl tank top - front and back panels are off the needles; just have to finish it--weave in ends, block, sew... you know, the part I don't like... :-p
And just as I was thinking, "I'll be happy if I never have to knit another (intarsia) color block. Ever.", I found a pattern in the SnB book that looked interesting...
Hat - knitting done; only have to... yeah, that same thing which I don't like very much...
And I still have to finish a Jayne hat or two... (there's that "f" word again...)
Arwen sweater - back panel done. I've knitted about 7" of the left front panel. I'm really liking this cable pattern. In fact, I'd rather knit cables than color blocks. Yep. *nods*
I also have a Hufflepuff scarf that's been taking forever because of the brilliant idea of doing it in purl stitch... well, it seemed like a good idea at the time...
Ravenclaw scarf for moo58 - Patternworks sent me the Dark Navy yarn, but apparently the Soft Grey was out of stock, so I'm waiting for that...
Tricorn hats - Got the wool from KnitPicks--enough for five hats. But looking at the projects I just listed... nevermind, no idea when I'll get to this. It would be great to have at least one for Dragon*Con. You know, in case there's a Pirate Party or something... ;)
Other random thoughts:
Alas, poor Yorick might get mistaken for a pirate accessory... Too cute...
Wow... I need to start saving for this. Maybe I can go, say about ten years from now?
(That, and the ESPN weekend in Disney... *sigh*)
