... another 'interesting' phrase:
Gespenster zu verbieten, stand nicht in der Macht des japanischen Feudalstaats. ("The prohibition of ghosts was not in the power of the Japanese feudal state")
No way!

In other news, as I shut down my computer yesterday I realised that this is Ring*Con weekend. And I spent all of Saturday...... reading and learning.
To be honest, I hadn't even realised that the Con was this weekend. Completely forgot about it, only realised it when, just as I got ready to go to bed, a fandom friend came online and I thought "Huh, how come she's up so late? .... oh. Right." I'd kind of intended to go there at least for the Saturday, and... completely forgot that it was this weekend.
I'm growing up, aren't I? ;_;
At least I think by now I have delineated my topic for the Japanese exam (that is, the essay part). Of course, I won't know until I have convincingly explained it to the professor and she's said something along the lines of "Yes, I can work with that".
(This is the nice professor and it's immensely difficult for me to do this. I have no idea how I'm supposed to talk to the other exam professors.
I'm not growing up after all. >_>)
ETA: Speaking of forgetting events, though: -- next week/weekend sees the annual
Game Fair in Essen. Anyone going? I've been thinking about going either on Thursday or Friday and figure it would be more fun not to go alone...
