boredom....
So, I'm really out of my skull bored, so I thought I might take a few minutes to tell everyone about the things that I think are cool right now.
1. Songbird an in development (v 0.2.5 is the current stable version) cross platform (linux, mac, and windows) media player. What's so cool about that you may ask? Well, that's not the cool part. The cool part is this: It is based on the the mozilla architecture, it is being developed by the crew who brought you winamp, and duh dun dun duh! It is geared toward web oriented media. You caqn subscribe to audioblogs, you can drag and drop internet media into your library. It allows for importing your itunes library. It has smart playlists.
Did i mention that you can download the source code (if you want to...)
2. Twitter You all probably already know about twitter... but incase you don't, go there get yourself an account, waste some time. My user name is Olmstead.
Tres Fun.
3. TWIS this week in science. They have a pod cast, and as of the last three weeks, they are on on teusdays and on thursdays for one hour each. They will make you laugh, and edumacater ya up;)
4. C-Net's Buzz out loud A general geekfest of the tech type. Complete with references to BSG and WOW not to mention all of the geeky tech savvy wierdo things that you might want to know about what's new, and where it's going...
So, yeah, that's about the extent of it...
