CHRISTMAS IS YUMMY

Snow! Falling from the sky! Little friendly flakes that kiss your cheeks and eyelashes. Possibly as a ruse to then sneak into your brain and take over the world but who cares! Snnnoooooowwww!

Anyway, I hope everyone had a fun, fun Christmas with heaps of eggnogg and mistletoe. Well, maybe not the mistletoe but definitely the EGGNOG.

No one uses an alarm clocks here in Canada. This morning I was awoken by a great thump on the window, and thinking that the birds here were stupid and didn't know how to fly, I went to the window and got pelted with a snowball. That's how you get woken up in Canada! People chuck snowballs at you!

Christmas was so fun. We have a fireplace, so for the first time in my life, I actually left cookies and milk for Santa :)) My aunt owns a bakery and the whole of yesterday was spent eating cakes, making gingerbread men(!) and so forth. The turkeys are ginormous here. Serious. Have you seen the episode where Mr Bean gets his head stuck in a giant turkey? They're all that size here..and OMG, I think I'm actually writing a proper blog for once! So I'll stop now.

Psstt..for all those I'm sending postcards to, they're..err..gonna be Australian ones. If you're special, you'll get one of the Opera House! *runs* *hides* *gets lost* Yeah, my cousins had ones left over from their trip to Oz and I'm too stingy to buy Canadian ones. Unless, of course, bribes of substantial value are offered. *wink wink, nudge nudge*
