Hello All,
Well, my computer has decided to do a Jesus and resurrect itself for the time being. (Though if it continues with the Jesus theme and decides to ascend to heaven, I’ll be really peeved.) I must admit, the eons of time with which I have been deprived of technology (aka 29 hours) has really been an eye opener - I’ve realised that I am scarily dependent on the Internet.
I’ve always assumed that I was relatively non-Internet addicted. I was healthy, I didn’t have a problem. It was 8.30 at night, when I was slowly going mad and my fingers were making ghost jerking movements in an attempt to type on an invisible keyboard, that I knew there was something wrong with me. I tried reading good literature, massacring the SMH and even re-watching my pirated first season of The Office (thank you, Jenefer) but lo behold, the minute my dad finished re-networking the computer, I jumped at it straight away to play Solitaire Showdown start my Geography assignment with Joan. All I can do now is join FATTIE (Freakily Addicted To The Internet Establishment) and wallow in this unwholesome addiction.
Anyway, here’s a riddle for you all:
There are three words in the English language that end in the letters “-gry”. Two are "hungry" and "angry." Everyone knows what the third word means, and everyone uses it every day. What is the third word?
