Frederic always wants to go outside. It's more a neurotic wish to know what's happening next than a preference for the outdoors, I think. But he got excited when I moved toward the back door to check the lock, so I took him outside. He immediately started dining on the spider webs that covered the corners of the back porch. He took them delicately in his mouth and chewed them thoughtfully. Then he trotted a lap of the back yard, peed, and came back.
When we went inside, he played with his pet shark with special vigor. His pet shark is about the size of a stick of butter, and he threw it up in the air a lot and caught it again.
