Daily Life
Well, let's see. I'll have to tell you about what's going on nowadays. First of all, the weather has been OUTRAGEOUS. In an EXTREMELY GOOD WAY. It almost hit 80 yesterday! And I spent just about the WHOLE day with my friends!! =D Let's seeee. I got up late, around 12. I went to breakfast with Joel, Kelli, Rachel, and Katie. I then went over to Joel's place afterwards, because he was supposed to try on a dress for the Drag Ball he's in. His mom's really nice =D She reminds me of Danny McElligott's mom *L* Danny and Joel have quite a bit in common. It was really funny the way he and his mom talk =D They're always bickering in a friendly kinda way ^^ I found it so amusing the way she looked at me when she was working on the dress with him. She gave me this look that said "LOL omg I'm putting my son in a dress". It was HILARIOUS =D I luv them =D Anyways, it was SO beautiful out that there were people outside on the rooftops in nothing but shorts and sandals, lying around, playing guitar, reading, what have you. Everyhwere you go the campus was alive! It was wonderful! And off campus on the way to and from Joel's house, there were SO many motorbikes!! Anyways, we hung out for a few hours outside under the library overhang on the catwalk. We drew, talked about religion and identity, that kinda stuff. When we were talking, I introduced him into the idea that you're in 100% control of your emotions. Like everyone else, he was very skeptical. It's hard to accept at first, but after taking the leap of faith and thinking about it for a while, it starts to make more and more sense. Give it a try for yourself, reader, whoever you are =) It's INCREDIBLE. Oh the POWER you get from it!! Anyways, I have more to say, but I must be off. It's time to see my advisor! Tah tah alls =D
