(no subject)
I love ska so so much. For some reason I haven't grown tired of it. Toasters with SGR in philly was really good, but sadly that was the last show i saw. I really need to get my ass in gear, so many good ska bands out there i should be seeing. Called MAACO today, said it would cost about 600$ to get my car painted entirely checkered. So i think instead im just gonna get "Pick It Up!" or "Skakin' USA" airbrushed in italics on the back bumper of the car, and just put checkered stickers on it. Eh, it's settling, but what can I do?
I gotta meet more ska people in/around the new brunswick area, i seriously am all alone. everyone's into their this and that, or that and this, giving credit where credit is due(op ivy, for starters) but still...no madness fans, or toasters fans, or shit, even mad caddy fans.
Also, if i can get my drums back from my sis, or get a new kit, im gonna try to start up another ska band, i've already got a few positions filled....
